How are you doing? Today I’m going to share with you some of the activities outside of the BHGAP program that I’m involved in. Let’s go!
The first few weeks at Cal have been quite hectic in fact. While trying to finalize my class schedule, I was also looking for ways to get involved on campus. It’s quite interesting to experience how serious the application process for many of the professional clubs is. Going through several rounds of interviews and case workshops is quite common to secure yourself a spot in one of the professional clubs. I went to Calapalooza, a student activities fair, and attended several info sessions for DeCals and student clubs. In the end, I decided to apply for the social committee position in the Global Leadership Organization. As a full-fledged member of the committee, I get to organize different internal social events, such as the board game night or cooking events. I also have the opportunity to organize my own individual event. It’s going to be a language café event where international students and American students come together to improve their language skills in a casual and relaxing atmosphere. More details coming soon 🙂

Last weekend some of my fellow BHGAP students and I went to visit Half Moon Bay. Check out the incredible shots we took that day!
I’m incredibly thankful for being part of BHGAP. This program is not only giving you a taste of world-class education in business but also allows you to take advantage of everything that Berkeley and the Bay Area has to offer. If you take some time in the beginning to explore the different courses, events, and clubs, you will soon find your niche and family here. I’m glad I found mine.
Cheers!
